Purpose

To summarise representations made to
consultation on the Wolverhampton Local Plan (Regulation 19) and to
agree the Council's response to these representations and any
proposed changes to be submitted alongside the Plan. To approve
Statements of Common Ground agreed regarding the Plan. To approve
an updated Wolverhampton Local Development Scheme in accordance
with Government requirements.

Content

1.     
Noted the summary of key issues raised in the Wolverhampton Local
Plan - Regulation 19 Consultation provided in section 2.0 of this
report and endorse the principles of the Council responses set out
in paragraph 2.2, which result in no proposed changes to the
Plan;
 
2.     
Approved, and sign on behalf of the Council: the Greater Birmingham and Black Country Housing
Market Area Statement of Common Ground; the Black Country
Functional Economic Market Area Statement of Common Ground; and the
Dudley MBC and City of Wolverhampton Statement of Common Ground,
all attached as Appendix 1 to this report;
 
3.     
Approved adoption of the Wolverhampton Local Development Scheme
(2025-28), attached as Appendix 2 to this report.
