Purpose

To mitigate the increasing cost of TA by
piloting a family supported housing provision in partnership with
City Housing, Homelessness.

Content

1.   
Approved a supplementary budget of £40,000 funded by Home
Office Asylum Grants for delivery of a Supported Housing Pilot to
help reduce the increasing cost of Temporary Accommodation
(TA).
2.   
Approved grant payment of up to £40,000 for a period of up to
12 months, from 1 June 2025, until 31 May 2026, to Spring Housing
Association for provision of specialist wrap around integration and
homelessness prevention support.
3.   
Agreed to enter into Grant Agreement with Spring Housing
Association for the delivery of the Support Families pilot from 1
June 2025 until 31 May 2026 to help reduce the increase in demand
for Temporary accommodation following evictions from
the  Asylum estate.
