Purpose

Request for extension of grant award for a
maximum of 12 months.

Content

1.   
Approved grant payment of up to £100,000 for a period of up
to 3 months from January1st, 2025, until March
31st 2025,  and,  up to  £250,000
for a period of 12 months from 1st April 2025, until
March 31st 2026 to The Refugee and Migrant Centre (RMC)
for provision of specialist advice, guidance, and wrap around
support, inclusive of Immigration at OISC level 3, for the delivery
of City service, in line with the Council’s Financial
Procedure Rules.
 
2.   
Agreed to extend Grant Agreement to be with The Refugee and Migrant
Centre for the delivery of the City service from January 2025 until
March 2025, and Agree to enter into agreement with The Refugee and
Migrant Centre for the delivery of the City service from April 2025
until March 2026 based on need following review.
 
3.   
Approved a grant payment of up to £300,000 for a period of up
to 15 months from January 1st, 2025, until March 31st,
2026, to The Afro-Caribbean Community Initiative (ACCI) for
provision of service to make a ‘House a Home’ utilising
upcycled furniture and improving standards in the private rented
sector in line with the Council’s Financial Procedure
Rules.
 
4.   
Agreed to enter into a grant Agreement to be with Afro-Caribbean
Community Initiative of £300,000 for the delivery of the
House a Home service from January 2025 until March 2026.
