Purpose

Development of new homes at the Council owned
site on Probert Road, Oxley.

Content

1.    
That the capital budget be approved for remediation of land fully
funded by grant funding and re-purposing of the Council owned
disused Oxley Probert Road site (Oxley site), former day care
centre, for housing.

 

2.    
That the necessary virements from the Oxley Heath & Wellbeing
Facility scheme to the Corporate Provision and Contingency for
Future Programmes Budget be approved to reflect the updated funding
position.
 

3.    
That the Oxley site be allocated for disposal with vacant
possession for development of a modern housing scheme, subject to
planning, to a development partner upon terms and conditions to be
agreed.

 

4.    
That authority be delegated to the Cabinet
Member for City Development, Jobs and Skills in consultation with
the Director of City Development and Section 151 Officer to agree
and enter into the required construction contracts, development
agreements, funding agreements and other ancillary agreements as
detailed in the report.
