Purpose

Delegated authority to approve the award of
contracts

Content

1.    
That authority be delegated to the Cabinet Member
for Health, Wellbeing and Community, in consultation with the
Director of Public Health, to approve the award of a contract for
Wolverhampton Children and Young People’s Activity Programme
(Yo! Active) when the evaluation
process is complete.
 
2.    
That authority be delegated to the Cabinet Member
for City Transport, in consultation with the Director of Resident
Services, to approve the award of a contract for the purchase of
ten new food waste collection vehicles when the evaluation process
is complete.
 
3.    
That authority be delegated to the Cabinet Member
for Adults, in consultation with the Director of Adult Social Care,
to approve the award of a contract for Shared Lives when the
evaluation process is complete.
 
4.    
That authority be delegated to the Cabinet Member
for City Development, Jobs and Skills, in consultation with the
Deputy Director of Assets, to approve the award of a contract
for Hickman Avenue Fleet and Council Services
Facility when the evaluation process is
complete.
 
5.    
That authority be delegated to the Cabinet Member
for Resources, in consultation with the Deputy Director of Finance,
to approve the award of a contract for Recovery Services when the
evaluation process is complete.

 

6.    
That authority be delegated to the Cabinet Member
for Health, Wellbeing and Community in consultation with the Chief
Operating Officer to approve the award of contracts for Our
Communities Support Services across the following four lots when
the evaluation process is complete:
i.      
Lot 1 – contract up to £765,000 for
delivery of Specialist Advice & Support
service.
ii.     
Lot 2 – contract up to £795,000 for
delivery of Raising Standards, Private Rented Sector.
iii.    
Lot 3 – contract up to £735,000 for
delivery of Tenancy
Sustainment.
iv.    
Lot 4 – contract up to £1,035,000 for
delivery of Resettlement and Crisis
Response.
