Purpose

To seek approval to appoint Legal Services to
undertake all necessary legal work associated with new build
developments prior to entering into formal contracts. This includes
the preparation and completion of Section Agreements with statutory
bodies to fully enable the site for contract delivery as part of
the pre-contract investigation works

1.     
Authorised the Council (including Legal Services) to carry out all
legal works including but not limited to, deed of covenants,
collateral warranties, assignments, transfers, the grant of
easements, wayleaves and other such ancillary agreements as deemed
necessary to facilitate the delivery of projects.
 
2.     
Authorised the Chief Operating Officer, so such other authorised
officer, to affix the Common Seal of the Council, and/or to sign,
any documents to give effect to the above.
