Purpose

To approve the Treasury Management Activity
Monitoring - Mid Year Review 2025-2026.

Content

That Council be recommended to note:
1.
That revenue underspends of £1.8 million for the General Fund
and £1.3 million for the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) are
forecast from treasury management activities in 2025-2026.
2.
That a mid-year review of the Treasury Management Strategy
Statement had been undertaken and the Council had operated within
the overall limits and requirements approved in February 2025 and
July 2025.  However, due to required
capital works at the i10 building, the authorised limit and
operational boundary for service investments is forecast to be
slightly in excess of the best estimates included in the above
approvals.  These self-determined limits
would be reviewed as part of the 2026-2027 Treasury Management
Strategy.
