Purpose

Amendments to the Housing Allocations
Policy

Content

1.    
That the implementation of the revised Housing Allocations Policy
attached at Appendix 1 to the report, with effect from 1 April 2026
be approved.

 

2.    
That authority to the Deputy Leader: City Housing, in consultation
with the Executive Director of Economy to approve minor editorial
changes and statutory and legislative changes to the Housing
Allocations Policy when necessary.

 

3.    
That it be noted, the Allocations Policy continues to delegate
authority to the Deputy Leader: City Housing, in consultation with
the Executive Director of Economy, to approve Local Lettings Plans
which are time limited variations to the Allocations Policy to
achieve specific objectives pertaining to a local area or
addressing a specific issue.
