Purpose

This report seeks approval for the
implementation of a 20mph speed limit, school zone, and waiting,
loading restrictions. The measures are designed to improve safety,
encourage sustainable travel and contribute to the effective
management of the highway network.

Content

1.  
Approved the implementation of road safety measures including
school zone as indicated in Appendix A.
2.  
Approved the implementation of a 20mph speed limit on roads as
indicated in Appendix B, drawing no. T3_2164-02 through Section 84
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
3.  
Approved the implementation of waiting and loading restrictions on
roads as indicated in Appendix C, drawing no. T3_2164-01 through
Sections 1, 2 and 124(1) (d) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
4.  
Authorised the Chief Operating Officer to implement the relevant
Traffic Regulation Orders.
