Purpose

This report seeks permission to draw down
government grant funding to pay for provision of solar panels in
maintained schools.

Content

1.     
Approved the establishment of a supplementary budget in line with
the Council’s Financial Procedure Rules by accepting
£338,000 of capital grant funding from the DfE to be spent by
March 2026 for the purpose of installing LED lighting, Solar Panels
and Electric Vehicle charging points at Rakegate Primary and
Lanesfield Primary Schools.
2.     
Establishedd a supplementary capital budget of £59,000 for
works at Lanesfield Primary School.
3.     
Established a supplementary capital budget of £279,000 for
works at Rakegate Primary School.
