That City of Wolverhampton Council participate in
the proposed West Midlands Safe Centre partnership, and it be
noted, if the Council is to participate it would need to take
further decisions and governance in relation to such participation,
including (without limitation) in respect of the terms of and entry
into all contracts and other arrangements, subject to the
Council’s share in the partnership not exceeding 5.4% - 7.3%.

 

2.     
That authority be delegated to the Executive
Director of Families in conjunction with the s151
Officer and the Monitoring Officer (or their delegates), to carry
out all legal and tax due diligence work and continue negotiations
with other West Midlands local authorities in relation to the
proposed the West Midlands Safe Centre Special Purpose Vehicle
(SPV).
