Establishment of a Love Your Community
Neighbourhood Team

Content

1.     
That the establishment of two Love Your Community Neighbourhood
Teams be approved. The estimated cost of the twelve-month pilot is
£772,000 comprising £480,000 capital expenditure and
£292,000 revenue expenditure.

 

2.     
That the creation of supplementary revenue budgets of £67,000
in 2025-2026 funded from the Our City Our Plan reserve be approved.
The budget for the 2026-2027 costs would be incorporated into the
2026-2027 budget and approval sought as part of the annual budget
approval process. The total estimated revenue cost is
£292,000.

 

3.     
That a virement of £480,000 from the Corporate Provision and
Contingency for Future Programmes budget to establish a Love Your
Community capital budget, to support vehicle and equipment
purchases be approved.
 

4.     
That it be noted, this is a pilot project for one year to trial a
targeted approach to improving local neighbourhoods.
