Purpose

To delegate authority to approve the award of
contracts.

Content

1.     
That authority be delegated to the Cabinet Member
for City Development, Jobs and Skills, in consultation with the
Director of City Development, to approve the award of a contract
for sandwiches, food to go and snacks when the evaluation process
is complete.

 

2.     
That authority be delegated to the Cabinet Member
for City Development, Jobs and Skills, in consultation with the
Deputy Director of Assets, to approve the award of a contract for
the Urgent Responsive Building & Structure Fabric Repair when
the evaluation process is complete.

 

3.     
That authority be delegated to the Cabinet Member
for City Development, Jobs and Skills, in consultation with the
Deputy Director of Assets, to approve the award of contracts for
the Planned Building Maintenance and Minor Works Framework when the
evaluation process is complete, as well as for call-off contracts
above the services threshold.
 

4.     
That authority be delegated to the Cabinet Member
for Children, Young People and Education, in consultation with the
Executive Director of Families, to approve the award of a contract
for Colton Hills Secondary School Changing Room Extension when the
evaluation process is complete.

 

5.     
That authority be delegated to the Cabinet Member
for Children, Young People and Education, in consultation with the
Deputy Director of Children’s Services, to approve the award
of a contract for Care Leavers Supported Accommodation Service (18
to 21 years old) when the evaluation process is
complete.

 

6.     
That authority be delegated to the Deputy Leader:
City Housing, in consultation with the Deputy Director of Housing,
to approve the award of a contract for Homes Improvement Agency
Multi Contractor Agreement when the evaluation process is
complete.
 

7.     
That authority be delegated to the Deputy Leader:
City Housing, in consultation with the Deputy Director of Housing
to approve the award of a contract for Homes Improvement Agency
Specialist Equipment when the evaluation process is
complete.

 

8.     
That authority be delegated to the Cabinet Member
for Resident Services, in consultation with the Director of
Resident Services, to approve the award of a contract for the
disposal of gully and waste sweepings when the evaluation process
is complete.

 

9.     
That authority be delegated to the Cabinet Member
for Resident Services, in consultation with the Director of
Resident Services, to approve the award of a contract for Mortuary
and Pathology Services when the evaluation process is
complete.

 

10.  
That authority be delegated to the Cabinet Member
for Resident Services, in consultation with the Director of
Resident Services, to approve the award of a contract for the
Provision of Kerbside Recycling Processing.
