Purpose

To provide an
update on the Budget Consultation.

Content

1.     
That the provisional outcome of the Budget Consultation for
2026-2027, which opened on 21 November 2025 be noted.

 

2.     
That it be noted, at the time of writing the report, the budget
consultation had not formally closed (closing date 16 January
2025), therefore any significant changes / additions to the
responses outlined in the report would be reported to Cabinet at
its meeting 21 January 2026 in addition to the update on the
financial settlement within the Our Future Council (OFC) –
Collection Fund and General Fund Resources Update 2026-2027 report
of the same agenda.

 

3.     
That it be noted, data used for the report is based on responses
received to the consultation as of 10am on Friday 2 January
2026.
