Purpose

To provide an overview of the successful
Heritage Lottery Fund funded project Explore, Enhance, Protect and
Promote Smestow Valley Nature Reserve project and approve entering
into the grant funding agreement for the development phase between
2024-2026 and to establish supplementary revenue budgets.

Approved the acceptance of the grant
allocation of £184,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund for the
development phase of the project Explore, Enhance, Protect and
Promote Smestow Valley Nature
Reserve.
Approved to enter into an 18-month
grant funding agreement with The Heritage Lottery Fund as the
funding body for the development phase.
Approved the establishment and spend
of supplementary revenue in line with the funding agreement.
Approved payment of grants and fees
as required for delivery of activity.
