Purpose

That the Cabinet Member for Children, Young
People and Education in consultation with the Director of Children
Services approve the building in of a supplementary budget of
£1.8 million for year one to be funded in full by the
Department of Education pending final approval from the Department
for Education.

Content

1.   
Approved the creation of a supplementary budget in
2023-2024, to be fully funded by the Families First for Children
Pathfinder grant allocated from the Department for Education (DfE).

 
2.   
Approved that the Council make grant payments to
external bodies from the supplementary budgets detailed in
recommendation 1.
