Purpose

Approval to enter into an Agreement for Lease
to bring forward a vacant brownfield site for employment use to
meet the expansion requirements of a major local employer.

Content

1.   
Approved the Council entering into a conditional Agreement for
Lease with the interested Third Party (which will enable upon
discharge of all conditions the drawdown of the long leasehold
interest for 250 years) for land edged red shown in Appendix 1 on
terms as set out in the body of this report.
 
2.   
Approved the Chief Operating Officer or such authorised officer to
negotiate, execute and complete all necessary legal documents to
give effect to the above recommendations.
