Purpose
To seek approval to act as accountable body
for Home Office Anti-Social Behaviour Hotspot Pilot Funding and
allocate funding to increase the presence of authority figures
within identified areas.
Content
1.
Approved that the City of Wolverhampton Council can act as
Accountable Body for the Anti-Social Behaviour Hotspot Pilot grant,
as detailed in the report.
2.
Approved the establishment of supplementary revenue budgets
totalling £100,000 (£50,000 in 2022-2023 and
£50,000 in 2023-2024) fully funded by grant allocation.
3.
Approved the allocation of grant funding to Inpower Academy CIC
(£66,666), Engage Youth Empowerment Services CIC (EYES)
(£33,334) to provide additional presence within hotspot areas
as outlined within the report.
