Purpose

To seek approval to award the contract for the
construction of eleven houses along with associated infrastructure
to Morro Partnerships Limited (formally Jessup Brothers), through
the Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (DMBC) Housing Development
Framework. Cabinet (Resources) Panel on 14 June 2023 approved the
delegated authority to the Deputy Leader: City Housing (formerly
Cabinet Member for City Housing) in consultation with the Director
of Resident Services.

1.         
Approved the award of the contract for the construction of eleven
properties comprising of seven number 2 bedroom, two number 3
bedroom and two number 4 bedroom houses along with associated
infrastructure to Morro Partnerships, (formally Jessup Brothers)
Jessup House, 2 Station Court, Girton Road, Cannock, Staffordshire,
WS11 0EJ for a total value of £2,997,185.01.

 

2.         
Authorised any other agreements including deed of covenants,
collateral warranties,assignments, and such other ancillary
agreements, including variations, as may bedeemed necessary to
facilitate the delivery of the projects highlighted within this
report.
