Purpose
To seek approval to proceed with the purchase
of the former Council property, 5 Gough Avenue, where the purchase
price has been agreed. Due to structural defects on the adjoining
properties, acquisition is required so the row of four properties
can be demolished.
Content
1.
Approved the completion of the purchase of 5 Gough Avenue,
Wednesfield, Wolverhampton (as defined in Appendix 1) at the agreed
price of £157,000 plus Home Loss and disturbance
payments.
2.
Authorised the Chief Operating Officer (or other authorised
officers) to undertake all necessary steps, including the
completion and execution of all requisite legal documentation, to
purchase 5 Gough Avenue, Wednesfield, Wolverhampton (as defined in
Appendix 1).
