1.
That therelocation
ofCouncil FleetServices, theTravel Unitand TaxiLicensing
operationsto the Council owned site at Hickman Avenue,
Wolverhampton WV1 2TX (Land Reg. No. MM73304) (“the
Site”) to enable the release of future housing on brownfield
land and creating new construction jobs at the Culwell Depot Site
which forms part of the wider ‘Brewers Yard’
regeneration proposals be approved.
2.
That theserving
oftermination noticesto tenants,seeking vacantpossession ofthe
Site.To allow the re-utilisation of the
Site for Council services as part of the ‘One Public
Estate’ initiative and reduce energy costs and asset
maintenance be approved.
3.
That the Chief
Operating Officer be authorized to serve all requisite notices (and
other ancillary legalsteps) toterminate allexisting
tenancyagreements andobtain vacantpossession as detailed in the
report.
4.
That it be noted that a Cabinetreport
dated28 July2021 wasapproved establishingthe principlesof the
project and included the re-configuration of the Site to include
the commercial space provision.
5.
That it be noted that
the amendments to the project budgets as a result of the
recommendations within thereport areincluded forapproval inthe
CapitalProgramme2024-2025 to2028-2029
