About

The Cabinet is Worcestershire Council's executive body, responsible for most day-to-day decisions. Appointed by the Council Leader, its ten members oversee specific areas and must act within the Council's overall policies, priorities, and budget. The Cabinet considers reports from the Overview and Scrutiny Performance Board and can delegate executive decisions to individual members. Key decisions, which involve significant expenditure, savings, or impact on communities across electoral divisions, are typically published in advance in the Forward Plan.
