Purpose

To consider the appointment of Members to the vacant seats
on Statutory and Non-Statutory Groups which fall to be reconstituted by the
Executive Board.

Content

RESOLVED
–

 

(i)             
That
the appointment of Members to the vacant seats on the Statutory and
Non-Statutory Groups established by Executive Board indicated in paragraph 4.1
of the report be agreed.

(ii)      That Group Leaders provide the names of
the nominated Councillors to the Chief Officer Governance & Customer within
three weeks.

(iii)     That
this matter be dealt with as an urgent item of business in accordance with
Section 5 (Rule 5.8.10(m)) of the Council’s Constitution.

 

Reasons for decisions

(i)       To agree the appointment of Members to
the vacant seats on Committees, Sub-Committees, Panels and Working Groups in
accordance with the Constitution.

(ii)      The
reason for urgency is to allow those Members appointed to operate immediately.
