RESOLVED

 

(i)          
The ratification of The Charter for
Families Bereaved through Public Tragedy be endorsed.

(ii)         
The Charter be signed by the Chief
Executive on behalf of Wrexham County Borough Council.

(iii)       
That due regard be given to the Public Sector
Equality Duty (Section 149 of the Equality Act 2010) during implementation and
adoption of the Charter.  

REASON FOR DECISION

 

To ensure that the
organisation is aligned to agreed principles when managing public tragedies and
incidents.
