Motion 5i

 

RESOLVED – That
in light of the recently published peer performance assessment report which
included a recommendation in relation to improving the approach to scrutiny and
the contents of the motion presented today, under paragraph 4.21.3(b) of our
constitution, the subject matter be referred without discussion to the
Constitution Working Group for consideration and report.

 

Motion 5ii

 

RESOLVED – That this Council

 

i) Call on the Betsi Cadwaladr
University Health Board to urgently review and address the parking issues at
Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

 

ii) Request that the Health
Board publish a clear plan with timelines to improve parking capacity and
management, including consideration of multi-storey options, off-site park and
ride, public transport or better use of existing land.

 

iii) Urge the Health Board to
engage with Wrexham Council, local residents, and staff representatives to
ensure any solution is inclusive, practical, and community-sensitive.

 

iv) Send a copy of this motion
to the Chief Executive and Chair of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board,
the Welsh Government Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care and all
elected Members of Senedd for North Wales.
