Governance of the collaborative
arrangements for Welsh (local authority) Adoption and Fostering services
Quoracy of the National Joint Committee for the National Adoption Service for
Wales and Foster Wales

RESOLVED
–

 

(i)       That the quorum of the National Joint
Committee be reduced to 40%, with at least 3 regional areas
represented.

 

(ii)      That
the entry into and signing of the Deed of Variation by the Chief Officer Governance & Customer to enable this be
authorised.

 

Reasons for
decisions

 

(i) To comply with the request from the National Joint
Committee to reduce its

quorum: all parties to the original agreement have been
asked to approve the change in their relevant organisation

 

(ii) Agreeing this proposal will enable the Joint Committee
to meet and undertake its functions on behalf of Wrexham County Borough Council

thus enabling
the oversight by it of the collaborative arrangements for

adoption and
fostering services
