Purpose

To seek Executive Board’s approval for an amendment to the
Annual Leave policy concerning the ability of employee’s being able to sell
back annual leave

RESOLVED - That the changes to the Annual
Leave Policy be approved.

 

Reason for decisions

 

(i)         To
expand an employee’s choice
and flexibility around their overall reward package.

 

(ii)       To
reduce cost to the Council where high cost agency workers are used for frontline
roles when backfilling employees on annual leave.
