Purpose

To inform Members of the
Council’s 2024/25 current budgetary position for Quarter 1

Content

RESOLVED –

 

(i)         That the 2024/25 budgetary forecast
position for the year based on the Quarter 1 position be noted.

 

(ii)        That a
School Transport Task and Finish Group be established, and an update report be
brought back to Executive Board in 6 months.

 

Reason for decision

 

To ensure robust budget monitoring
arrangements for the financial year and that action is taken to address the
budget pressures forecast.
