Portfolio Holder agreed:
That subject to 3.2 the council
charges applicants for planning permission a fee for monitoring
biodiversity net gain delivery.
That the council will require a fee
payable by legal agreement by those applicants who:

Are delivering “significant” biodiversity net gain on
the site to which the planning permission pertains (known as
“on-site” provision); and/or
·
Are delivering biodiversity net gain on a different site in Wyre
(known as “off-site” provision in Wyre).
That the fee is reviewed annually to
ensure the approach to charging for monitoring remains fair,
realistic, proportionate and reflects the impact on the resource of
the planning service.
That the Assistant Director of
Planning and Building Control be authorised to adjust the fee and
the fee mechanism annually to accord with 3.3.
That the Assistant Director of
Planning and Building Control be authorised to adjust the fee and
the fee mechanism to accord with 3.3 as and when required.
