Services submitted a report to seek approval (retrospectively) to
accept grant funding from The Forestry Commission - Urban Tree
Challenge Fund (UTFC) initiative.

Portfolio Holder agreed:

That approval is given to accept £38,187.72 from The Forestry
Commission (FC) as part of their UTFC initiative, which is being
delivered by the council in partnership with Trees For Cities
(TFC), a UK charity aiming to plant urban trees and make towns and
cities greener.
 

·      
That the council will be responsible for the delivery of the UTCF
initiative within Wyre, in partnership with TFC.
