Purpose

Entering into a new contract with Regenda
Housing Group to enable Reganda Housing Group to process Wyre
applications for social housing on My Home Choice Fylde
Coast.

Decision

The Director of Communities submitted a report
to seek approval to enter into a contract with Regenda Housing
Group (Regenda) to process applications for social housing in
accordance with the My Home Choice Fylde Coast Consistent
Assessment Policy. Also, to seek approval for an exemption from the
contract procedure rules.
 
Decisions
 
The Resources Portfolio Holder and the
Neighbourhood Services and Community Safety Portfolio Holder
agreed:
 

That approval is given to enter into
a three-year contract with Regenda at a cost of £30,000 per
year (plus Consumer Price Index (CPI)). This will be met from the
Homelessness Reserve.

 

That approval is given to allow the
procurement under the exemption to contract procedures contained
within the Financial Regulations and Financial Procedural Rules
This is on the grounds that exemptions are permitted to contract
procedures where “the goods, works or services are of a
specialised nature carried out by only one or a limited number or
firms with no reasonable satisfactory alternatives
available”.
