The Director of Communities submitted a report
to seek approval for the allocation of £113,587 from the REPF
to support infrastructure improvements at Garstang Market House,
High Street PR3 1ZA, enhancing and sustaining its role as a
community and economic asset in Wyre.

That £113,587 of REPF is granted to Garstang Town Trust for
capital works to enhance the Garstang Market House building.
 

·      
That the Capital Programme for the financial year 2025/26 be
updated to reflect the spend profile of £113,587 on this
project, funded from REPF.
 

·      
That approval is given to delegate authority to the Director of
Communities, in conjunction with the S.151 Officer, to determine
the award of the remaining balance of the REPF fund (£6,674).
This may include an uplift to the Garstang Town Trust project,
subject to the confirmation of submitted cost estimates through
their completion of the relevant procurement exercise.
