Purpose

To approve the renewal of the contract for the
councils public facing website and integrated features that enable
the provision of critical services to residents.

Decision

The Director of Transformation and Change
submitted a report to seek approval to direct award a contract to
Jadu Ltd for the supply and hosting of our public facing website,
our Customer Experience Management platform (CXM), and supporting
services.

That approval is given to direct award the council’s public
facing website and CXM solution to Jadu Ltd through the
GCloud 14 procurement framework. The
proposed contract term is three years, and the costs are set out in
the report. Overall, a modest annual increase to the budget will be
required of between £6,182 and £6,932.

That approval is given to proceed under the Exemption to Contract
Procedures contained within the Financial Regulations and Financial
Procedures Rules on the grounds if a framework is available that
necessitates the council not having to go out to tender and the
goods, works or services will still provide the council with best
value for money.
