To agree the outcome of the evaluation
exercise for the bulky household waste collection contract,
including any financial implications, in order to award the
contract.

Decision

The Assistant Director of Environmental
Services submitted a report to agree the contract award for the
Bulky Household Waste Collection Service following a compliant
procurement exercise.

The Resources Portfolio Holder and the Street
Scene, Parks and Open Spaces Portfolio Holder agreed:

That approval is given to direct award the council’s Bulky
Household Waste Collection Service to Enveco UK Environmental
Services (Enveco), following a compliant procurement exercise.

That approval is given to proceed with the direct appointment and
engagement of Enveco, under the exemption to Contact Procedures
contained within the Financial Regulations and Financial Procedure
Rules on the grounds that exceptions may apply when there is no
genuine competition for the goods, works or services being
procured.
