Purpose: The Council is required to publish a new LDS by 06 March 2024. An LDS sets out the timetable over a three-year period for the production of a Borough's Local Plan. The Council's current LDS was published in July 2023. The new LDS replaces the current timetable covering the period 2025 to 2028.

Content: Resolved that, subject to the Council agreeing to withdraw the Elmbridge Local Plan from Examination at its meeting on 26 February 2025, the draft Local Development Scheme 2025-2028, that set out the timetable for the preparation of a new Elmbridge Local Plan, be approved.
