Purpose: Consideration is being given to the implementation of a further public spaces protection order to assist with addressing anti-social behaviour in the district. Cabinet are being asked to agree to go out to consultation on the proposed order.

Content: Cabinet agreed the following:   1.  To consult on the proposed PSPO in accordance with the statutory requirements, that is to say to consult with the local chief officer of police; the police and crime commissioner; owners or occupiers of land within the proposed affected area, appropriate community representatives and the relevant local parish councils;   2.  To note that if Recommendation 2 is agreed, consultation will commence immediately after the pre-election period.
