Content: 30.1 The Committee considered a report of Jayne Foulds, Community Services Manager, on the allocated £100, 000 project spend for the year 2024-25 and the proposed allocation of funds to address local priorities for the South East Local Area Committee (LAC) for 2025-26.   30.2 Since the previous LAC meeting the following expenditure has been approved by the Community Services Manager in consultation with the LAC Chair under the delegated authority:   ·        Administration - £3,500 ·        Environmental - £376   30.3 Detailed below was the full allocated £100,000 project spend for the year 2024-25.   ·        Crime & Community Safety - £49,000 ·        Environmental - £14,000 ·        Health and Wellbeing & Children & Families - £33,000 ·        Administration - £3,000   30.4 Detailed below was the proposed £100,000 project spend for the year 2025-26.   ·        Crime & Community Safety - £50,000 ·        Environmental - £17,000 ·        Health and Wellbeing - £15,000 ·        Children & Families - £15,000 ·        Administration - £3,000   30.5 RESOLVED: That the South East Local Area Committee:   (1) notes the expenditure under delegated powers against the £100,000 budget to address local priorities in the South East LAC as detailed in the report; and (2) agrees the spend breakdown of the £100,000 budget for the year 2025-26 to address the local priorities in the South East LAC.   30.6 Reasons for Decision   30.6.1 Spending decisions made by the Community Services Manager under the authority delegated by the LAC in October 2024 are required to be reported to the next LAC meeting so that the LAC can monitor its delegated budget and delivery of the Community Plan.   The further expenditure and proposed use of funding under delegated authority outlined in the report addresses the identified local priorities within the South East LAC Community Plan.   30.7 Alternatives Considered and Rejected    30.7.1 The LAC could choose not to allocate 2025-26 budgets at this stage but this would delay local priorities and facilities for local communities.
