Purpose: To provide an update on the Early Years Pathfinder. It details progress made to develop a system-wide approach for improving outcomes for children and longer-term implications, the activity and its impact, quality assurance arrangements and next steps.

Content: (a)      That the Committee noted the contents of the report and continued to demonstrate commitment to early years integration and transformation, to ensure all children had the best start in life;   (b)      That members acknowledged the work completed during the Programme, and the commitment of staff to meet the aims of the Programme; and   (c)       That members had reviewed the report and feedback and congratulated the officers on its content.
