Content: Salford City Council - Record of Decision   I Councillor Barbara Bentham, Lead Member for Neighbourhoods, Environment and Community Safety, in exercise of the powers contained within the City Mayors Register of Executive Functions Delegated to Lead Members do hereby approve the Health and Safety Plan for 2025-2026 incorporating a review of the 2024-2025 performance.   The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has a National Local Authority Enforcement Code with the aim of ensuring that local authority health and safety enforcement are focused on serious risks and poor performers. To ensure the service is accountable to our community, local authority health and safety services and processes should be designed to meet the local needs of the public and businesses. This should be reflected in publicly available risk-based service plans, approved, on an annual basis, by elected members, which reflects the HSE’s strategic priorities and the objectives of the National Code. Options considered and rejected were N/A Assessment of Risk : Low   The source of funding to meet the requirements of the HSE can be met within existing budgets.
