Decision

Alcohol and Drug Partnership Annual Reporting Survey 24/25

Decision Maker: Integration Joint Board

Outcome: Approve

Is Key Decision?: No

Is Callable In?: No

Date of Decision: May 28, 2025

Purpose: It is a Scottish Government requirement that all ADPs across Scotland complete an annual survey and have it signed off by their ADP and local IJB. The Survey reports on a range of aspects relating to the delivery of the National Mission to reduce drug deaths and improve lives, as well as activities relating to alcohol during the financial year 2024/25. It does not reflect the totality of the work relating to drugs and alcohol but will cover areas that are not already reporting progress nationally through other means.

Content: Noted correction in recommendation to clarify it was ‘annual reporting survey’ not ‘annual report’ that was under consideration.   Agreed to delegate to the Chief Officer in consultation with the Chair and Vice Chair to finalise the report incorporating the comments provided by Members.   Agreed to invite the new Chair of the ADP to a future meeting to present their strategic plan and performance, to enhance ongoing engagement with the ADP.
