Purpose: To set out the principles that Wolverhampton City Council will apply in exercising its powers under The Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm (England) Regulations 2015.

Content: 1.     That the Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm (England) Regulations 2015: Statement of Principles for Determining Penalty Charge Notices, attached at Appendix 1 to the report be approved.   2.     That authority be delegated to the Deputy Leader: City Housing in consultation with the Deputy Director of City Housing, to make minor editorial changes to the Statement of Principles when necessary.
