Purpose: To consider approving the commencement of a procurement exercise to deliver a new park and play area facility funded by the Tariff Programme.

Content: 1.         That the commencement of a below-threshold PA23 open tender process for a contractor to carry out the works relating to this project, be approved.   2.         That authority be delegated to the Director of Environment and Property, in consultation with the Cabinet member for Public Realm, to approve the award of the contract following the procurement process, subject to the contract price being within budget.
