Purpose: To present Cabinet with the Quarter One (Q1) position regarding the Council’s organisational performance. This includes details relating to the Council’s Operational Key Performance Indicators (OKPIs) and progress against the 2025-26 Corporate Action Plan, including, for the first time, a new Strategic Indicator Report.

Content: Cabinet has:   a)    Reviewed operational key performance indicator results and comments at Appendix A,Strategic Indicators at Appendix B and progress against Corporate Action Plan outputs at Appendix C; b)    Noted the proposed introduction of ‘KPI04 - % of current tenant rent arrears’ at Appendix A, in place of the previous KPI reporting on ‘% housing rent collected’, as detailed at paragraph 8; c)     Reviewed the progress updates at Appendix D in relation to outputs that were categorised as Amber in the 2024-25 Q4 Business Plan Progress Report, and that were not included within the 2025-26 Corporate Action Plan; d)    Reviewed the Housing Tenant Satisfaction measures at Appendix E, included within this report for the first time, as detailed at paragraphs 15-16; and e)    Noted the inclusion of prototype dashboard screenshots at Appendix F, being developed to provide Members with access to a greater range of service-level performance information, as agreed at June Cabinet.
