Content: Recommendations:  1.1. To delegate authority to the Corporate Director of Homes and Neighbourhoods to approve any minor adjustments to the final policy ahead of further guidance being published post approval of this report to action ahead of the law coming into effect on the 27th October 2025. 1.2. To agree amendments to the timeframes for Complex Works within the Housing Repairs and Maintenance Policy, to ensure they are realistic, enforceable and aligned with operational capacity and tenant expectations to improve transparency, reduce delays and support compliance with statutory obligations including Awaab’s Law. 1.3. To approve the Major Works Transfer Policy, ahead of further guidance being published following the approval of this report, to enable timely action in advance of Awaab’s law coming into effect on 27 October 2025. 1.4. To delegate authority to the Corporate Director of Homes and Neighbourhoods to approve any minor adjustments to the Major Works Transfer Policy, ahead of  further guidance being published post approval of this report, to enable timely action in advance of Awaab’s law coming into effect on 27 October 2025.       Decisions: AGREED 1.recommendations. 2.
