Purpose: This report will update Cabinet on how the Council is set to meet the requirements of new duties on social housing providers building safety.

Content: Cabinet agreed to:   i)  Note the activities undertaken to comply with the Building Safety legislation.   ii)  Approve the confidential Annex to the report regarding the award of contracts to undertake Fire Compartmentation Surveys and any required remediation works and a contract extension for Structural Surveys works to our multi-storey, High Risk Building housing stock.
