Purpose: To report the outcome of the review of the Joint Waste Local Plan for Merseyside and Halton undertaken by Merseyside Environmental Advisory Service.

Content: Resolved (8:2) – That   1.   The conclusions of the review of the Joint Merseyside and Halton Waste Local Plan, that the Plan and its policies remain fit for purpose and do not require further review or updating for the remainder of the Plan period to 2027, be endorsed; and   2.   the publication of the review documents, forming appendices 1-7 of the report, be approved.
