Content: It was moved by Councillor German, seconded by Councillor Ashton and   RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND TO CABINET:   1.  That the Budget Development Overview and Scrutiny Committee’s comments on the report be relayed to Cabinet to consider.   There were three abstentions.   It was moved by Councillor German, seconded by Councillor Webb and   RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND TO CABINET:   2.  That the council tax increase for 2026/27 assumption be reduced to align with CPI.    There were five votes against the motion.
