Purpose: To inform the committee of the progress made by the council in reducing pesticide use in its operations for the management of weeds on council land To seek approval of a new Weed Management Policy To seek approval of actions that will help the council to reduce it’s use of pesticides going forward.

Content: The Committee RESOLVED (unanimous vote in favour):   1. To note the progress made by the council in reducing its use of pesticides.   2. To approve the adoption of the Weed Management Policy.   3. To approve the proposed actions for inclusion in the Ecological Emergency Action Plan 2025-28.
