Purpose:

Content: RESOLVED   (1)  That delegated authority be granted to the Strategic Director of Adults and Health, in consultation with the Executive Member for Adults Social Care and Health to enter into agreements to secure provision of an All-Age Advocacy Service, within the approved budget envelope.   (2)  That the procurement of these services be approved as two lots with lot one being the All-Age Advocacy Service and lot two being the Independent Health Complaints Advocacy Service.   (3)  That the Strategic Director of Adults and Health be authorised to award contract(s) to the provider(s) offering the best overall value, following evaluation against published tender criteria, within the approved financial envelope.   (4)  That the contract value allocation be split between Adults and Health and Children’s and Education budgets in line with the service provision, within the overall approved budget envelope.   (5)  That a contract duration of up to five years (3+1+1) be approved with the option for inflationary uplifts in years 4 and 5 subject to formal approval, ensuring contracts remained within the approved financial parameters.
