Content: *RESOLVED – That the Chesterfield Community Safety Partnership Plan for 2025 – 2028 be noted and endorsed. REASONS FOR DECISION 1. The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 placed a duty on the police and local authorities to work together with key partners and organisations to develop and implement local crime-reduction plans. In doing so the Partnership must inform the plan based on local need and analysis of crime and disorder levels and patterns in the area and have regard to the objectives set out in the local Police and Crime Plan. 2. The Chesterfield Community Safety Partnership (CSP) is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of an agreed local Community Safety Partnership Plan. The partnership comprises a wide range of organisations including Chesterfield Borough Council (CBC), Derbyshire Constabulary, the Probation Service, Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service, Derbyshire County Council, Public Health, plus a range of voluntary and community sector organisations. 3. The CSP monitors and reviews the delivery and performance of projects and interventions contained in the Chesterfield Community Safety Plan. It considers performance and outcomes while addressing gaps in service delivery and undertaking any required statutory duties. The CSP also identifies, shares and helps secure resources and funding to support the Chesterfield Community Safety Plan.
